Is the whole house rented?
Yes. La Tofonera is rented as a whole: a two-storey house for up to 10 guests, with 7 bedrooms, 8 beds and 3 bathrooms. For groups of 6 or fewer, the second floor stays closed.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out by 12:00. Please let us know your expected arrival time in advance.
Can I bring my pet?
Yes, pets are allowed. Supplements may apply — just mention it when you book.
Are children welcome?
Yes, children of all ages are welcome. Cots are free and extra beds cost €39 per person per night (on request, subject to availability).
Is there a tourist tax?
Yes, the Catalan tourist tax is €1.75 per person per night, up to 7 nights. Under-17s are exempt.
Is the pool private?
Yes, the outdoor pool is private for guests and seasonal (summer). The grounds also have a garden, barbecue porch, table tennis and a basketball court.
Is there a hot tub and games room?
Yes, there is an indoor hot tub for several people and a games room with a pool table.
What are the house rules?
No smoking, no parties, events or stag/hen parties, and quiet hours from 00:00 to 08:00.
Is there parking and wifi?
Yes, free parking inside the grounds and free wifi.
How do I get there?
We are in Vimbodí i Poblet, next to the N-240 and about 10 km from the Montblanc exit of the AP-2: 1 h 30 from Barcelona, about 45 minutes from Tarragona and Lleida and 5 minutes from Poblet Monastery. See the Getting here page.
What is there to do nearby?
Visit Poblet Monastery, walk in the Poblet forest, discover Montblanc and the Cistercian Route, taste Conca de Barberà wines or go truffle hunting (activities subject to the events calendar).
